Statement

Please note the following expected/normal behaviors of the Targus Stow-N-Go Optical Notebook Mouse:

Click the mouse to exit a screensaver. Moving the mouse will not exit a screensaver.
In default landscape mode at the Boot Menu, the pointer only moves vertically (up & down) and is unable to click on the Boot Menu. Use the stylus, standard USB mouse or if available a keyboard instead.

Unknown Device Installation Instructions

This solution has two sections:

Determine the Unknown Device 'ID':

Unknown devices are determined by the ID of the device. Each device in the system has an ID or identifier. Even when a device is Unknown the system can read its ID. The ID or identifier can be called several names: Hardware ID, Device ID, PNP Device ID, Instance ID. The ID tells you exactly which device is present. There is also a location of the device. Look for the ID instead of the location.

General way to determine the Device ID:

In Device Manager, open the Unknown Device and view the Details tab.

Determine Device ID by OS:

Windows 2000:

Open Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information
Open Components > Problem Devices
Note the PNP Device IDs
Match the IDs with the information below

Windows XP:

Open Control Panel > System Properties > Hardware > Device Manager
Open the Properties for the Unknown Device
On the Details tab, note the Device or Hardware ID
Match the ID to the information below

Windows Vista:

Click the Windows Start Orb, type Device Manger in the Start Search box, press Enter
Click [Continue] through any User Account Control windows
In Device Manager, open the Properties for the Unknown Device
On the Details tab, note the Instance, Device or Hardware ID
Match the ID to the information below

Install the correct software-driver

Once you have the Device ID, match it to the below information and install the correct software-driver..

FUJ02BF	Fujitsu Button Device	Use: The Button Driver enables the Tablet Buttons on computer with Touch-screens (both Active and Passive). Installation: Install the Button Driver and then the Button Utilities for your computer.
FUJ02E1	Fujitsu Radio Control	Use: Enables/disables the Bluetooth or Wireless LAN Antenna. This device is not used on all computers; you should only be concerned with this device if you find the DeviceID for it. Installation: Installed with Bluetooth Software on computers which need it, otherwise use the Hardware Installation Wizard to install the FUJ02E1.inf file.
FUJ02E3	Fujitsu System Extension Utility	Use: Extension to the functions of FUJ02B1. FUJ02E3 works with the System Extension Utility for several features including but not limited to: PCI-Express bus control (power), ability to lock the CD-Drive when tablet computers are in tablet mode. Advanced port-locking features. The ‘System Extension Utility’ has a .dll for communicating with Windows on power management. Fujitsu recommends this driver be installed all Fujitsu testing is completed with this driver installed. Installation: Use the Hardware Installation Wizard to install the FUJ02E3.inf file.

USB BT	Fujitsu Button Device	Use: This unknown device shows for early versions of the Bluetooth device (Bluetooth version 1.2). It is not compatible with Toshiba Bluetooth software version 4 and higher. Installation: Install the Bluetooth software which originally shipped with the computer.
IFX1010 IFX1020	TPM Security Chip IFX1010 = Infineon TPM Security Chip V1.1 IFX1020 = Infineon TPM Security Chip V1.2	Use: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is computer chip and associated software which creates a nearly unforgeable security key mechanism for use encrypting and decrypting files/folders. Installation: The chip can be enabled/disabled on the Security section of the computer BIOS. When disabled, the device will not show in Device Manager. Install the Infineon TPM Package software. A disc containing the software is included with the computer.
VID_08FF&PID_2580	AuthenTec Inc. AES2501.	Use: Fingerprint Device Installation: Install the Fingerprint Driver from the disc included with the computer or from the Fujitsu Service And Support Website.

Updated AT&T Communications Manager for Windows XP SP3

Symptoms

After upgrading to Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) users are able to use the AT&T Communication Manager (ACM v6.7.24) to connect to the AT&T WAN network only once.

This issue occurs after the user closes & attempts to re-launch the ACM application.

Issue also observed when the unit is resumed from standby/hibernate (S3/S4 modes) or power up after establishing an Internet connection via the AT&T WAN.

Solution

Update the AT&T Communication Manager software to version 6.9.118 or higher by following these instructions:

Choose Open (or Run) to start the installation.
Follow the on-screen installation wizard. After completing the installation, restart your notebook.
After restarting your notebook, double-click on the 'Communication Manager' icon.
Click Connect to connect to the Internet wirelessly (You must have a subscription to an eligible data plan.)
